House Officers who have worked for the School of Medicine a qualifying state agency for twelve (12) months and 1,250 hours in the previous twelve (12) months, may be eligible for up to twelve (12) weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave in each twelve (12) month period, in accordance with the requirements of the Family Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA).
