Central Application Service (CAS)
The San Francisco Central Application Service (CAS) distributes applications to residency and fellowship training programs online. Applicants are required fill out a CAS application form, provide a set of required documents, and select programs for distribution. A separate fee is required for CAS distributions.
The use of the SF Match Central Application Service (CAS) is mandatory for both programs and applicants. Applicants are required to have the following documents in order to apply to programs:
- Complete and submit CAS application form (online submission);
- Medical School Transcript (s);
- USMLE Scores or equivalent score reports;
- ECFMG certificate (applicable to International Graduates);
- Three letters of reference;
- Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) letter;
- Copies of medical license(s);
- Distribution list and payment (online submission).
