GME Terminology

The QI Project Submission Form is used to submit all quality improvement projects on which LSUSOM faculty, staff and House Officers are participating. The form defines whether a project is active, completed or inactive, the project description, proposed project end date, and metrics. The primary facility where the project takes place and anticipated milestones with dates that will assess whether or not it was a success.
