Description: | Fellowship refers to the additional training that a physician can receive after completion of a Residency. This training is done through a Fellowship Program, and lasts between 1 and 4 years. Most, but not all fellowship programs are accredited by the ACGME. Like residency programs, Fellowship Programs are led by a Program Director, and a Program Coordinator is typically in charge of the administrative work needed to run the program. |
