Accreditation

A multi-institutional (LSU & Tulane House Staff) committee at UMCNO. Curriculum at UMCNO has been established with quarterly offerings on Patient Safety/Quality Improvements (PS/QI) which include use of QI and PI tools and methodology such as fishbone, PICK, Swiss Cheese, and defining of adverse events through a variety of activities such as Journal Club, Patient Case Conference, Project Huddles and Committee Council.
