GME Calendar Sync Installation Instructions

The GME Calendar Sync plugin is compatible with Outlook version 2007, 2010 and 2013.

Install Plugin to Sync GME Calendar with Outlook

NOTE: This plugin should only be installed on computers that are primarily used on-campus. Calendar syncing will NOT work from off-campus locations (unless connected to the LSUHSC VPN). Additionally, this plugin cannot be used in Citrix.

  1. Close all open Microsoft Outlook windows
  2. Go to U:\Public\GME_Calendar_Sync_Install
  3. Double click the "Setup" icon

 

4.  Click Next >

 

 

5.  If prompted to, install any needed pre-requisites. Otherwise, click Install

 

 

6.  If a User Account Control notification is shown, click Yes

7.  Click Finish

8.  Restart your computer if prompted.

 

9.  Launch Outlook

 

 

 

10.  When Outlook is starting, you may be prompted to install a customization. If you see this, click Install.


Installation is now complete.
